I’m Anish Baid, currently pursuing my PGPM in Finance at IBS Mumbai. Having recently transitioned from my B. Com degree, I’m at the early stage of shaping my professional journey in the world of finance.My academic background has given me a strong grounding in accounting principles, financial statements, and basic analytical tools. Now, at IBS, I’m excited to deepen my knowledge in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and capital markets. I’m particularly fascinated by how financial data translates into strategic business decisions and market movements.Although I’m a fresher, I am proactive about building practical skills alongside my coursework. I’m learning Excel for financial analysis and plan to pursue certifications like Bloomberg Market Concepts and Financial Modelling to enhance my technical capabilities. I’m also keen to explore real-world finance through internships, live projects, and active participation in campus committees related to finance and corporate networking.I’m enthusiastic about exploring roles in equity research, investment banking, corporate finance, and financial consulting. My goal is to contribute to organizations through detailed research, analytical insights, and a strong work ethic.Beyond academics, I believe in continuous learning and connecting with professionals who can inspire and guide my career path.
