In this role, I managed all WWU club budgets, travel requests, and expenditure request forms. I facilitated meetings with clubs to teach them to manage their budgets and fundraise. This role has been a great opportunity for me to practice using Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, to communicate and organize financial information. I use the official Western financial tracking system to track and reconcile spending for clubs and report any discrepancies. I also have sharpened my communication skills and my ability to relay financial information to a broad range of people including faculty, students, and staff.
