ABOUT ANIRUDH NARULA

A senior Oil and Gas industry professional with an experience in few of the best organizations globally namely Gujarat Gas (owned by BG), Castrol (owned by BP), TATA and Essar Oil Limited. Graduated from India’s top rated institute with exceptional leadership skills and over 25 years experience. A dedicated professional with sound financial and legal knowledge, with proven track record in business development, start up ventures, leading team of managers and professionals. Recent Major Achievements Oil retail industry had been dominated by PSUs for a long time while private players either had negligible presence or had out dated retail outlets. I took a responsibility of developing new retail outlets (petrol pumps) in the most crucial and competent zone of Essar Oil Limited two years back when company’s network was very old and company had negligible presence. Under my leadership, Essar now has 15 % of total industry network in my zone and has 10% market share in retail business (a history in Oil industry). 10 % additional retail outlets are in various stages of construction. In my previous organization, NIPCO plc (Nigeria), I took charge of its Natural Gas business and turned around the business from a heavy loss making business to a revenue neutral business within two and a half years. Specialization Recruiting and leading large teams to achieve complete turn around in business. Specialization includes senior level recruitments, developing man power, bringing financial awareness in the team, understanding the opportunities while minimizing the risks.
