I\'m excited to share my ongoing entrepreneurial journey as a co-founder and product lead for D.E.T.E.C.T - an AI-powered platform redefining early cancer detection. The Mission:Misdiagnosis impacts 1 in 5 patients, delaying treatment and reducing survival rates. D.E.T.E.C.T.(Digital Evaluation Technology for Early Cancer Treatment) is developing an AI-based clinical decision support tool that integrates multimodal data - radiology, pathology, EHR, and genomics - to help clinicians detect cancers like lung cancer up to 2 stages earlier.🧠 What I Led:As Head of Product Development, I’ve been responsible for shaping the platform’s core functionality, clinical relevance, and technical roadmap. I coordinated between AI engineers, UX designers, and clinical advisors to build a tool that’s intuitive, compliant, and impactful. Our explainable AI engine reduces diagnostic interpretation time by ~22%, while offering real-time confidence scores and rationale overlays to aid decision-making. Market & Traction- TAM:$1.32B AI medical imaging (2024), expected to hit $26B by 2034- SOM:~$20M from oncology clinics and telehealth providers via SaaS model ($4K–$40K/month)- Conducted interviews with 70+ clinicians; 65% indicated intent to adopt- Regulatory planning underway for FDA Class II SaMD (De Novo Pathway)- Building pilots with hospitals and diagnostic startups across India and the U.S.This venture combines my drive for product innovation with the mission to make diagnostics faster, smarter, and more accessible.
