My experience spans across three decades of work in diversified domains like Procurement, Supply chain, Shared service operations and Production. I am currently working with Pfizer and responsible for driving the Supply Chain strategy for India cluster, VIetnam, Pakistan and Indo China markets. Prior to my current assignment, have worked as Lead-P2P (Procure to Pay) responsible for operations supporting Europe, North America & India region at Dow Chemicals. My experience in strategic sourcing includes raw material sourcing across all business verticals for India at Dow and heading the procurement operations for Construction Chemicals & Functional Polymer business at BASF.Have enjoyed an enriching stint as visiting professor for Operations Management at KJ Somaiya College of Management, Mumbai. Am a passionate endorser of DEI initiatives and I lead this effort to make the culture more inclusive and diverse in Pfizer India. Also active in supporting needs of differently abled children and work with NGO’s supporting this cause.I engage myself in driving advocacy for Pharma Producers of India association and I am co-chair for the Technical and Supply Chain committee. Specialties : Experience in Supply chain includes network optimization, distribution & logistics, ware housing, planning and inventory management in pharma & construction chemicals industries. Have driven regional projects across markets on cost optimization and value-add services which go beyond product supplies. My expertise in purchasing & shared services cuts across the entire gambit encompassing strategic sourcing, vendor development, third party processing, imports, procure to pay operations, travel expenses, audit & large ERP implementation projects. Specialization in strategic sourcing of raw materials for Surfactant & Specialty Chemicals, Construction Chemicals, Paint Emulsion, Adhesive & Agro Chemical industry.
