An engineering graduate from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA graduate from the University of Golden Gate, San Francisco, Mr. Agarwal, has over 30 years of experience in business strategic planning & implementation, managing design & manufacturing operations, marketing & global supply change, and in restructuring inefficient operations. Since 2016, Agarwal is promoting EdifyOnline, a technology company focused on higher education online teaching talent management. Prior. Bristol-Myers-Squibb (BMS), a pharmaceutical company - Agarwal consulted to transform its continuous improvement (CI) program from excessive governance to self-governance. Re-structured the processes to self-validate data; shift focus to more credible issues with most impact; inspired multiple stakeholders to achieve CI objectives. Facilitated team engagement, commitment, and ownership to CI savings pool worth over $ 250M. Prior.worked with Bechtel Power Corp. Various responsibilities in nuclear power plant designs and construction. Prior.SunGard, assisted the CEO and his international team in promoting pension benefit products and services in the Indian market in early 2007 when India was starting to form a formal structure around the 401k market. Shared \"lessons learned\" of the west in 401k space with the Chairman of Indian Pension Fund Regulatory Development Authority (PFRDA), Finance Minister, Chairman of Bombay Exchange, and other CEOs of financial market players.Prior.Restructured sales strategy for a high-tech company in Silicon Valley during dot.com era when most other similar companies were closing doors. New sales focus saved companies OEM accounts, eliminated un-reliability, and stabilized its US operation. CEO successfully sold the company in 2002.Prior.Purchased the largest steel fastener manufacturing plant in Birmingham, Alabama, once owned by Bethlehem Steel. It was a unionized plant, home of the United Steel Workers\' Union. Agarwal overhauled most of its obsolete processes that had been in practice since World War 1. It was a humbling experience working and managing a unionized plant in the USA.
