ABOUT ANIL MATHUR

I am a Board Director, and an Advisor on financial, risk management, regulatory and governance matters.I do this by leveraging my varied experiences over a 30 year career which included- Oversight over of risk management and governance processes for large institutions (CIBC, BMO, Merrill Lynch), in various audit roles, culminating in 9 years as Senior Vice President & Chief Auditor at CIBC- Complemented with practical experience of managing a large operational function while implementing a sound control environment that supports business objectives. As Senior Vice President of Corporate Services at CIBC, I had responsibility for the Bank\'s global real estate of 13 million square feet and for the procurement function managing the Bank\'s $3.5 billion annual spend.Services I provide: 1. Non-executive Director: I have extensive experience working with the Boards of Directors and financial services regulators. I currently serve on the Province of Ontario Audit Committee, the Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority, as well as Not-For-Profit boards.2. Risk advisory: I offer advisory services and interim management to financial services firms on matters relating to risk & governance or procurement (including managing third party risks and outsourcing contracts).
