About Anil Kumar Maurya

As a doctoral candidate, when I started my career, I had already made up my mind to enter the field of cyber law. At that time, the landscape of cyber law in India was in its nascent stage. I chose to evaluate the social media regulatory regime as my doctoral area. Slowly and gradually, my passion for law and technology drew my attention to related areas such as artificial intelligence, internet governance, cyber crimes, and more.When I started my career as an Assistant Professor at the University of Delhi, I focused on cyber law as one of my primary research areas. After joining Banaras Hindu University in 2016, I have been teaching information technology law since then. I have had the opportunity to deliver lectures at many institutions across India. My interest and dedication helped me elevate to the position of Associate Professor at the same university in 2024. I am very interested in learning about the various issues of cyber law and open to potential collaborations.
