I have a PhD in Biophysics from the Indian Institute of Science, where I also worked as a postdoctoral research associate.I am currently involved in applying enzyme technologies to support the development of sustainable and efficient manufacturing processes in the pharmaceutical industry. My broader experience includes designing multi-enzyme cascades for the synthesis of complex molecules, with a particular focus on biocatalysis and metabolic pathway engineering. Over the years, I have worked on more than 90 proteins and their variants—including transcription factors, enzymes, antigens, and antibodies—across multiple expression systems. This has involved hands-on expertise in protein expression, scale-up, purification, and characterisation.
