I am part of the Global Business Operations & IT management organization, responsible for designing and developing the enterprise Data Ingestion strategy as well as enhance and extend the current Data Standards process. ResponsibilitiesData IngestionCurrently executing the data ingestion strategy to build a framework of extensible common processes, technology framework and data requirements to optimize exchange of Underwriting, Claims and Submissions data from 3rd parties (brokers, carriers etc.)• Take Product Ownership of 3rd Party U/W and Claims Data ingestion strategy, incl design of overall data ingestion approach.• Provide oversight of development efforts to validate the solution conforms to agreed design principles.• Collaborate with external partners (e.g. Brokers), internal business partners, Operations, and IT to craft a rollout strategy/timeline for the solution.• Operationalize the implementation of the Ingestion Strategy, and work with both 3rd parties and internal functions to ensure complete mapping of externally sourced data to AIG’s target data models for downstream. Data Standards• Lead the development of a robust and scalable cross-functional data standards framework and be responsible for promotion of data standards value throughout the organization.• Work with IT and Data Governance teams to assess and review the implementation of data standards, using control and data quality checks.
