Key Responsibilities:1) Provide medical and scientific drive to the entire emerging markets operations of the Company 2) Insight Generation: Increase the depth of insight generation through thought leader interactions & well-planned advisory boards, deepen the relationship with thought leaders towards creating advocates3) Evidence Generation & Publication Plan: Identify data gaps in products, disease and therapeutic areas of interest, design & execute high quality evidence generation activities such epidemiological, observational/interventional, post-marketing, real world evidence (RWE) studies 4) Medico Marketing Activities, Launch Excellence & Compliance: Evaluate and identify correct market space based on medical criteria, ensure a technically sound product launch plan with accuracy in targeting and brand positioning, respond to queries from customers, ensure that all marketing plans are scientifically correct and compliant to ethical standards/Code of Business Ethics5) Medical Education Activities: Develop & conduct high quality medical education activities towards shaping therapy areas of interest, develop a pool of high profile thought leaders as speakers for the medical education activities, leverage technology to enhance the reach of medical education activities (ISPs, CMEs, RTMs, FGDs, Conclaves, Symposia, etc.) 6) New Product Ideation: Conduct a medical need-gap analysis on a continuous basis, apply deep scientific knowledge to scout for and assess new drugs in development, identify and recommend opportunities fulfilling unmet need and first to launch potential, apply deep scientific insights to recommend incrementally innovative proposals for optimal life cycle management7) Clinico-regulatory Strategies and Approvals: Provide medical support for the development of robust clinico-regulatory strategies to help secure approval of new products8) Team Building: Enhance/build scientific and soft skills within the Medical Affairs team
