The first Graduate Engineer Trainee batch in Air India** Monitor the in-service fleet on a 24X7 basis ensuring any reported defects are addressed in a timely manner ensuring best in-time performance for the fleet.** Work across various airline departments in rectification and recovery of AOG (Aircraft on ground) situations with minimal passenger disruption.** Rectify any pilot reported defects and carry our scheduled maintenance activities on the airplane based on manufacturer provided instructions in the Aircraft Maintenance Manual.** Review, evaluation, and implementation of all vendor documentation supporting new and in-service airplanes and engines.** Collaborate with internal departments and manufacturers in identifying and addressing emerging fleet and engine reliability issues. Analyse them and develop mitigation and corrective actions.** Create and implement a tailored maintenance program for each airplane in-line with manufacturer recommendations and fleet performance to ensure compliance with regulations and reliable airplane operations.** Compute, provision, and store all required airplane and engine parts to ensure that any reported defects for which component replacements are needed are addressed in a timely manner.** Attend industry conferences and events as a representative of the airline.** Prepare and develop training programs and content on various aviation engineering disciplines.** Process and analyse aircraft technical and regulatory documents and applicable amendments thereto.
