In my current role, I lead translational research focused on biosensor development for point-of-care diagnostics. This involves integrating various disciplines such as chemistry, materials science, biology, and microfluidics. I am also responsible for co-mentoring six Ph.D. students and collaborating on international grant writing and projects.Achievements: I successfully developed IoT-enabled colorimetric devices for the dual detection of ammonia and urea from blood serum and designed fluorometric devices for cysteine and TKX-50 detection in liquid samples. My contributions have significantly advanced our research capabilities and outcomes.
