I am a scientist turned engineer with a focus on advancing complex scientific measurement platforms through technical depth, collaboration, and curiosity. I am drawn to work that connects computational insight with hands-on engineering, building tools and systems that make precision metrology both scalable and reliable.At Picarro, I help evolve our trace gas analyzers by contributing to projects across engineering, manufacturing, and R&D to strengthen performance, reliability, and production yield. I often serve as a connector between disciplines, helping teams align hardware, software, data, and algorithms into cohesive systems that are practical to build and sustain.Earlier in my career, as a postdoctoral researcher and staff scientist at Argonne National Laboratory, I built test beds for high-speed imaging and developed AI-driven image-processing pipelines for advancing the state-of-the-art in synchrotron tomography. Working at the intersection of instrumentation and computation taught me to manage complex interfaces, quantify uncertainty, and design experiments that translate insight into measurable performance.I value environments where people are trusted to think broadly, act deliberately, and build together.    Contribute to improving Picarro\'s pioneering trace gas cavity ringdown spectroscopy platform that leverages broadband tunable lasers to detect volatile organic compounds at ppb detection limits- Drove cross-functional architectural improvements in the photodetection signal chain, pinpointing improvements to lasers, photodetectors, optics, and control algorithms to improve the precision of the gas sensing system- Developed software for integration, calibration, and performance tuning of optical sensors involving data acquisition, data-analysis, clustering, and signal-processing algorithms- Designed and implemented control software for a 24x7 humidity generation system integrating multi-sensor feedback (pressure, temperature, humidity) to control heaters, mass-flow controllers, and pumps.
