Manage all core accounting functions- accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, and revenue recognition, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards-Prepare and maintain consolidated monthly financial statements, weekly cash flow forecasts, revenue reports, and key schedules for senior leadership and external stakeholders-Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting in alignment with internal deadlines and regulatory standards-Manage recording and reconciliation of bank transactions, including intercompany and multi-currency accounts (CAD, USD, EUR), ensuring timely and accurate bank reconciliations-Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and municipal tax regulations; oversee timely preparation and filing of HST returns and support tax audits as needed-Liaise with external auditors, coordinate audit processes, and prepare comprehensive audit documentation to support both internal and external audit requirements-Maintain and reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including accrued liabilities, shareholder loans, capital expenditures, and equity, ensuring accuracy and completeness-Manage corporate credit card reconciliations, ensuring policy compliance, proper categorization, and timely reimbursements-Prepare and validate monthly commission calculations for account managers, based on revenue performance and contractual agreements-Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and support scalable financial operations.
