As a Process Control Engineer working with Univation Technology my job is to design, develop, deploy, test and troubleshoot advanced process control programs for Unipol Gas-Phase Polyethylene technology.I can independently build and test handshake logic, and troubleshoot network issues for OPC communications.I have the experience to train onsite engineers on Univation’s APC system, process control concepts, and PID controller tuning techniques.My responsibilities also involve taking on applied research on model predictive control of the PE process under subject matter experts from the Dow Chemical Company.As a Graduate student from the University of Florida, I am proficient in Control systems, Chemical Kinetics, and Process Engineering along with software tools such as FORTRAN, Python, Aspen HYSYS, Matlab and Simulink.I have experience in leading a team of engineers in Energy audits, scheduling and distributing work, supervising data gathering activities, overlooking process improvement calculations along with writing and submitting a report to the US DoE. I was awarded a fellowship from the University of Florida for my contributions to the team.I am familiar with the Six Sigma lean manufacturing techniques and have earned a Green Belt certification during my term at Honeywell International
