Responsible for developing, leading and executing major projects in support of the communications and stakeholder relations functions at Electrical Safety Authority. Key Responsibilities-Act as lead in project planning and execution of major internal and external projects in the communications and the stakeholder engagement functions-Collaborate with senior management and subject matter experts to advise on accurate and relevant communication content and strategies and managing the critical path timelines to ensure project timelines remain on track-Research, write, edit and produce communication materials for multiple projects and varied audiences including newsletters, Annual Report, website, corporate presentations and speeches-Lead and execute stakeholder engagement initiatives including public consultations, publications and reporting tools and develop stakeholder engagement materials and correspondence as required-Provide comprehensive support and lead as needed in issue management response processes as well as drafting and reviewing content for crisis management responses-Advise senior staff on how to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders-Oversee and manage marketing and public relations activities with Agencies and facilitate internal stakeholder approvals-Develop and oversee initiatives related to ESA’s Social Media Strategy-Monitor activity on social media to identify opportunities to promote ESA campaigns and mitigate risks-Create social media content in response to ongoing conversations in the marketplace to create greater engagement and profile for the ESA brand-Oversee website management with respect to ongoing content development/revisions on the corporate website and work with other business units to ensure revisions are executed on schedule-Provide recommendations and draft content for the ESA web site-Collect, analyze and report on communications performance metrics.
