About Anika Ford

I have recently graduated from The University of Iowa\'s Tippie College of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management and a minor in Communication Studies. Throughout my experiences in various jobs and my involvement in clubs, I have come to love working with people. Since I became aware of this passion, I have sought to turn it from just an interest into a career by seeking out opportunities to expand my knowledge and gain new relevant experiences. I have done this by actively participating in the University’s SHRM chapter and Tippie Students for Service club. Additionally, I enhanced my human resources knowledge as an HR Total Rewards Intern at Casey’s, where I gained exposure to all aspects of the field, solidifying my interest in pursuing a career in HR. While in school, I worked part-time as a Field Talent Acquisition Intern for Casey\'s where I continued to expand my knowledge of HR practices and recruitment strategies. I bring strong communication skills, acute attention to detail, and a friendly and social personality to any work environment. Most importantly, I bring an intense desire to learn, improve as a person, and add value to the company!
