As an Information Security Associate, my work sits at the intersection of policy, risk management, and compliance. In my current role, I am responsible for drafting/evaluating policies, managing and documenting incidents, conducting gap analysis, internal audits, and providing support during external audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. I have played a key role in refining risk assessment criteria, creating and streamlining the process to better align with organizational needs. Previously, as a Technical Consultant for the Government of India, I worked to strengthen national security through strategic technical investigations and forensic analyses. Prior, I served as an Assistant Professor of Criminology at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, designing and delivering courses in risk management, disaster management, cybercrime, document forensics, and research methodology, mentoring over 50 students along the way.Areas of interest- Information security, Information warfare/Geopolitics of Information, Internet governance, emerging tech, cyber crimes, Data protection and privacy.
