ABOUT ANH

Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” — Benjamin Franklin. I’m Anh, an educator and curriculum designer with 15 years of experience in higher education. I’ve developed and delivered industry-aligned curricula for hospitality and tourism programs at colleges and universities. I value learning environments that are collaborative, innovative, and focused on student success. I prioritize student-centred learning by integrating Universal Design for Learning (UDL), educational technology, and inclusive practices. My instructional methods include case studies, simulations, and real-world problem-solving, designed to engage diverse learners and foster meaningful participation. In 2025, I was honoured to present at two major conferences: • EvolvED SoTL Showcase (George Brown College) – “Enhancing Student Engagement Through Inclusive and Accessible Teaching Practices” • TOSCON 2025 (TESL Ontario) – “Supporting Neurodiversity and Plurilingualism for Inclusive Language Education with UDL” These experiences helped me reflect more deeply on my teaching philosophy: “If students don’t learn the way we teach, then we must teach the way they learn.” I currently support students with disabilities as a Class Assistant for Accessibility Services at George Brown College, where I provide note-taking and one-on-one tutoring. This hands-on role keeps me grounded in the lived experiences of learners and strengthens my commitment to accessibility and equity in education. I’m also exploring how AI tools can support inclusive education—personalizing content, simplifying communication, and supporting differentiated instruction while upholding ethical and transparent use. I’m adaptable, collaborative, and continually seeking ways to align learning outcomes with inclusive, impactful instruction.
