The technical convincer.\" Joined Moogsoft as employee 20, as a pre and post sales technical role, engaging in the first product push into the market. This involved all stages of the technical sales process from initial meetings, trade shows, demos, PoC/PoVs and deployments. As the company grew my role expanded to working in the office of the CTO on strategic and complex accounts and has now matured to become the Chief Solution Architect. My remit is to be technically involved across the sales cycle and to be the field input to engineering and product management. • Pre-sales activities in complex, strategic accounts where the product envelope is being pushed. • Pre-sales activities in complex competitor displacements • Post sales activities in all accounts, leading deployments in the more complex, oversight and mentoring in the less complex. • Technical sign-off for all presales (proof of value) and post sales deployments - Design and customisation code review • Responsible for defining and communicating best practices to the field (internal and partners) • Conduit from the field to engineering and product management • Member of the core product strategy team. • Team leader – Solution Architecture and Field engineering, running a small team responsible for - Solution Architecture (pre and post sale)- De-risking the field - Overcoming product or skills gaps- First of a kind integrations - From prototyping back through engineering to GA release- Enablement (internal and external) Notable successes: • Significant wins in all verticals, for both greenfield and displacement accounts- Very large enterprise, service providers • Involved in all accounts at a technical level. • Very hands on role, customisation work – first of a kind integrations rolled into GA products • Member of the product thought leadership team.
