ABOUT ANGUS GRAY

Everything I do is focused on allowing each person I interact with to be the best that they can be in that moment.I\'m currently working with leaders to help improve our understanding of our current workforce and skills, as well as looking at the future to see where we want to be in 3 to 5 years then working to identify the people interventions that will help us to move from where we are now to where we want to be.Before this I led a fantastic team providing training, advice and guidance to over 600 colleagues in our AML space. I enjoyed building out the training team; joining in March 2020 gave me the opportunity to help the team move to a 100% virtual approach for all of our training and development. Seeing the team grow through many challenges was so rewarding!I\'ve also led our \"Career Community\"- a brilliant community of c. members interested in career development. I\'ve built the community, hosted events for over 500 people at a time, co-ordinated Interview Masterclasses for over 2,500 people and seen many people take the next step in their career as a result! Before that I had the privilege of being a leadership development coach for around 3 years, working with over 500 leaders to provide training, development and 1-2-1 coaching to help them to thrive in their own way.As Executive Assistant to a Director leading a team of over 600 people I had the opportunity to see how a large scale operation works day in day out - budgeting, operational reporting, operational resilience, team development, large scale communication, 1-3 year planning, risk management and much more!I\'ve worked in Operations and within an Agency team managing large syndicated debt facilities. Throughout that time I particularly enjoyed Continuous Improvement, seeking opportunities to drive productive change to increase client service and profitability. I managed a portfolio of clients with debt of c.£3bn across several sectors including Engineering, Healthcare, Education, Letting and Renewable Energy. This required exceptional relationship building and stakeholder management, along with an ability to work well in high pressure, time critical situations. As a result I have a depth of experience in all aspects of syndicated debt ranging from deal completion to full repayments, complex restructures to primary syndications and other complex client based activities.Chatting 1-2-1 about hopes, dreams and plans is one of the things I enjoy most - so feel free to connect!
