ABOUT ANGUS DENHOLM

I am a well-rounded football professional based in Scotland with a strong background in recruitment, scouting, performance analysis, and data analysis, supporting evidence-based decision making within elite football.I have over three years’ experience working in football recruitment and analysis, and currently I\'m at Partick Thistle FC as a First Team Performance Analyst.Before that, I worked solely in football recruitment, in roles including Recruitment Analyst at Queen’s Park FC, and Live and Video Scout (Scotland) for Crewe Alexandra FC. Across these two roles, I have contributed to recruitment processes through detailed player reporting, player databasing, video and data analysis, and participation in recruitment meetings with senior decision-makers. I also bring a comprehensive knowledge of all UK professional football markets.I hold an MSc in Sport Data Analytics (Merit) from the University of Strathclyde, where I developed strong expertise in R, Tableau, and applied statistical analysis, with a particular focus on football-specific applications. I am passionate about modern football recruitment and performance analysis, combining traditional scouting methods with analytical insights, and I am open to opportunities in Recruitment Analysis, Data Analysis, Technical Scouting, or Performance Analysis roles.
