ABOUT ANGSHUMAN CHOUDHURY
I am broadly interested in international affairs, politics, and media. I particularly look into armed conflicts, peace processes, forced displacement, asylum policies and citizenship. I am a close watcher of Myanmar and Northeast India, with focus on ethnic armed conflicts, peace processes, Rohingya crisis, foreign policy and citizenship determination regimes (such as the NRC). On the side, I am an avid photographer and filmmaker, possessing cinematography, direction, production, and editing skills. I intend to combine my academic knowledge of international politics/conflict resolution with visual media (such as photography and filmmaking). As a broader objective, I wish to gain hands-on experience in journalism, with focus on conflict journalism.
