   Faculty Recruiting Assistant to the Department Head and Search Chair· Assist, plan, and organize all steps of the faculty recruiting efforts in the department by creating the position in Cornerstone, placing job advertisements, attending search committee meetings, scheduling both virtual and in-person two-day interviews, making travel arrangements for multiple faculty candidates to visit campus, schedule and create two-day interview agendas for multiple faculty candidates, make seminar room reservations and send emails to publicize multiple faculty candidate seminars, escort the faculty candidates to different buildings as needed, process all travel, business meal, and reimbursement expenses through Chrome River, and assist with the process to offer the candidates a faculty position.· Assist as a backup with ECE faculty and student travel arrangements and reimbursements when needed.· Assist with various department events, including the fall faculty banquet, faculty retreat, staff retreat, holiday events, and monthly faculty meetings.· Serve as backup to the Assistant to the Department Head with calendaring, promotion and tenure procedures, and other projects assigned for the department.
