Results driven professional with a demonstrated, successful 20+ year history working in a 4 year university setting and community college setting. Skilled in grants administration, talent development, internship leadership/development, employer engagement, college program development, student career development, classroom instruction, interviewing, strategic planning, and workforce development grant management. Passionate about creating new partnerships, improving career access for all populations, creating inclusive talent pipelines, improving community educational opportunities, and strengthening economic development.Key current accomplishments:* Reimagined the University’s federal work study program (now known as Averett Corps) to include intentional, meaningful experiences and placements. Created new evaluation system to ensure optimal employee development and growth. Manage placement and evaluation process for over 140 student employees.* Increased employer engagement in annual career fairs by over 100%.* Increased number of internship partnerships by 50%. Increased number of students completing internships by over 100%. Created standardized internship tracking system for credit-bearing and noncredit-bearing internships. Implemented new evaluation system.* Created and implemented internship course for students who desire an individualized internship experience.* Oversaw implementation of Handshake career services platform.
