Angie Weber has almost 3 decades of experience in the food and beverage industry. For the past 11 years Angie has been the Director of National Accounts for Monin Gourmet Flavorings, where she manages food and beverage programs for over 70 national restaurant chains. In May of 2008, Angie and her partners opened the highly acclaimed Cowboy Star Restaurant & Butcher Shop in San Diego. Cowboy Star quickly resonated with the community and has gone on to win “The Best Steakhouse in San Diego”, for 11 out of the last 12 years. In April 2015, she expanded the Cowboy Star concept and opened the 2nd location in Colorado Springs, CO. In 2018 she started a retail venture, CStar Provisions, and developed a line of award-winning Beef Jerky. Angie has been on the Executive board of the California Restaurant Association for 4 years and is the chair of the Government Affairs committee. She has also served on the PBID board at the San Diego Downtown Partnership for the past 2 years. Her distinct perspective of being a vendor as well as a restaurant operator, has given her a unique edge for creating profitable and effective strategies in her businesses.
