Specialize in the recruitment and placement of attorneys within the Michigan legal community. Client base consists of law firms and corporate legal department across the State which seek to hire the highest quality legal practitioners (“candidates”). The candidates possess varying levels of experience, from junior attorneys to the most seasoned experts, with diverse legal specializations. Goal is to identify and present candidates that best match a particular client’s needs. In doing so, concentrate on the quality of the candidate’s academic and professional qualifications; engage in a complex screening/interview process; and develop a rapport that instills a sense of trust and sensitivity to the hiring process.The Pierce Group sets itself apart from other legal staffing firms in that it only places attorneys in permanent positions, and it specializes specifically in the Michigan legal market. Moreover, it concentrates on building long term relationships, with much of its business generated from client and candidate referrals. The Pierce Group places enormous emphasis on “recruitment.” It believes that many of the best candidates are “passive,” and not actively pursuing other professional opportunities. It focuses on locating these candidates through directed recruiting campaigns, advocating new and exciting opportunities. The Pierce Group adheres to the National Association of Legal Search Consultants (NALSC) Code of Ethics.
