I have been practicing acupuncture since 1989 and have been teaching acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine theory since 1997. Students who rotate through my teaching clinics specialize in the treatment of the elderly and end-of-life care, community health, and working with specialized populations with complex diagnoses. I currently teach the foundational \"Meridians and Points\" and \"Traditional Chinese Diagnosis\" classes to first year Bastyr students in the Masters of Acupuncture program, and will be presenting a training in gerontology to doctoral students in the fall of 2018.
