Responsible for all college-related recruiting for the I/S division, including BlueCross’ Entry Level Training Program and summer interns.• Full life cycle recruiting for IT positions for BlueCross and its subsidiaries to include management level openings; mainframe, statistical (SAS), and Java/web programmers; UX/UI developers; data analysts; Unix, security, and network engineers; positions requiring government clearance; etc.• Work with management to create job descriptions and offers.• Attend career fairs, conferences, and presentations throughout the Southeast to recruit and attract IT talent.• Presenter at various colleges, universities, and veteran outreach groups to discuss resume writing and interviewing tips.• Work with management to define requirements and interviewing best practices.• Research and participate in webinars to stay current with industry, recruiting, and interviewing trends.• Work with management to ensure optimal behavioral and competency-based interview questions are used in recruiter screening and management interviews.• Schedule and attend phone, on-site, and WebEx interviews between candidates and managers. • Ensure all requisitions and recruiting processes are in compliance with federal contracts, labor laws, and corporate recruiting policies and procedures. • Utilize MS Office products, IBM Kenexa BrassRing, Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, CareerBuilder, Dice, and Indeed to source, manage, and organize pending and active requisitions and candidates.• Represent BlueCross I/S as a member of several employer advisory boards including Richland Two’s Carolina Alliance for Technology (CAT) and Career and Technology Education (CATE), Carolina Cluster Career Pathways Initiative (partnership between Benedict, Claflin, and Voorhees), and Women In Technology (WIT).• Board Member as Employer At Large for South Carolina Association of Colleges and Employers (SCACE) and on planning committees for conferences and events.
