ABOUT ANGIE ESTRADA

I am a seasoned insurance professional with a rich background in both agency and company roles, currently serving as an Underwriting Specialist at Liberty Mutual Insurance. My journey in the insurance industry began over two decades ago, and I have since honed my expertise in property and casualty insurance, negotiation, and claims resolution. I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Finance from Saginaw Valley State University, which has been instrumental in shaping my strategic thinking and leadership skills. Throughout my career, I have been committed to continuous learning, earning the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and several certifications in leadership and strategic thinking. My professional experience spans roles at prominent organizations like Tokio Marine HCC and Frankenmuth Insurance, where I excelled in underwriting and claims management. Beyond my technical skills, I am passionate about mentoring and leadership, having served as president of the Northeastern Michigan CPCU chapter. I currently serve as Director of Programs with the Greater Detroit Chapter of CPCU. I am eager to leverage my experience and skills to support and inspire others in mentoring programs, fostering growth and development in the next generation of insurance professionals. I also serve on the board for our local county Conservation District where I can apply my skills toward sustainable land management and help make mindful choices about food and water consumption.
