ABOUT ANGENI WORLEY
Former NCAA student-athlete turned mental health counseling professional in training, passionate about education, connection, and healing. I earned my B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Elementary Education with honors from Lynn University in 2021, where I developed a foundation and passion in mental health, human development, advocacy, leadership, and teamwork – both as a student and women’s basketball athlete. Currently, I serve as the Campus Visit Coordinator at Lynn University in the Office of Admission, where I lead the planning and execution of key campus events for prospective students and visiting counselors. My goal is to create meaningful experiences that reflect the innovation, inclusivity, and culture of our community. In parallel, I’m pursuing my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (anticipated graduation August 2025) and work as a Clinical Intern at Family First Adolescent Services. In this role, I provide individual and group counseling to support adolescent boys in residential treatment, drawing from person-centered, NeuroAffective Relational Model, trauma-informed, motivational interviewing, and integrative therapeutic models to meet clients where they are and provide extra support. I’m driven by empathy, purpose, and positivity, I’m committed to creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported – whether in a campus setting or in a clinical one. I’m happy you’re here!
