Hello, I\'m Ange. Polyglot, Musician, ML Enthusiast, and Professional Stargazer.As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa, and a man pursuing a double degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Ottawa (Data Science Fast Track), I’m passionate about finding the hidden stories in datasets and using data to make a tangible impact. My academic journey has equipped me with the skills and mindset to approach complex data-driven challenges, and I’m eager to transition into a Data Scientist role where I can further hone my expertise.During my time as an undergraduate research assistant, I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects involving extensive data wrangling, Python programming, and machine learning. One of my key contributions was proposing experimenting with transfer learning in uncharted territories which significantly influenced our approach to the classification problems at hand. Additionally, I’ve applied machine learning techniques to real-world data, demonstrating the power of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) in classification.I’ve always had a deep love for learning, not just in data science but in many areas, especially languages. I am fluent in French (native), proficient in Spanish, and Japanese, and continue to explore new ways of thinking and communicating. This passion for learning pushes me to grow, adapt, and apply a broader perspective to problem-solving, making me a well-rounded data professional.I’m driven by the belief that data holds the key to unlocking better solutions for the world around us. Whether it’s improving business processes or enhancing user experiences, I find great satisfaction in leveraging data to create positive change.
