About Angelo Solomita
Angelo is a licensed attorney who serves as General Counsel at FIRST. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the legal affairs of FIRST NY, in addition to providing support across the other FIRST entities. These responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts, corporate governance and global risk and compliance. Prior to joining FIRST, he worked in-house at multiple agencies including spending six years at a boutique sports agency as VP, Business and Legal Affairs. There he served as counsel for professional athletes across multiple sports including MLB, NFL and NHL players. Angelo received his law degree and MBA from Villanova University and his undergraduate degree from New York University. He is a member of the New York State Bar.
