Provides engineering support services for 420th Engineer Brigade LOGCAP-5. Oversees Comprehensive Electrical Power Testing (CEPT) of all government furnished equipment, to include IDIQ commercially leased power generation, Ring Management Unit (RMU), UDS, UPS, ATS, MTS, Distribution Boards and Power Plants and other electrical ancillary equipment in accordance with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-540-07. Performs maintenance inspections, services, repairs, and overhauls of generator sets and other Special Purpose Equipment; rotating machines, switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers and measure their performance at optimal performance levels. Ensures work is complete and conforms to standards and requirements IAW Technical Manuals, Army Regulations, established processes, and local SOPs. Assists the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) Power COR with planning scheduled facility outages; establishes metrics designs for utility outages DPW FORM 304, deconflicts customer issues and process Transportation Movement Request (TMR). Responds to power outages and assesses equipment’s malfunction failure; determine root cause and monitors sub-contractors’ corrective actions. Prepares Purchase Request with operational funds within maintenance budgets and Other Direct Cost (ODC). Responsible for Program. Management Operations Report (PMO); Personnel Status Reports (PSR); Situation Reports (SITREPS). Assist electrical teams with project final-phase inspection deliverables DA FORM 4283. Provides input to develop and implement continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operations. Supervises Team of other country national power generation mechanics and electricians; collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork; ensures all direct labor and subcontractor personnel comply with Environmental Safety and Health requirements. Preforms sub-contractor performance reviews
