ABOUT ANGELO MARIA PEZZULLO

I am a medical doctor with a focus on public health, epidemiology, and evidence-synthesis methods. As an Assistant Professor at the Public Health Department of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Rome, Italy), I bring experience from various roles in the field. Previously, I served as a Scientific Officer at the Italian Institute for Planetary Health (Rome, Italy) and a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Epidemiology of Erasmus MC (Rotterdam, the Netherlands). As a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Fellow, I had the opportunity to work at the Meta-Research and Innovation Center at Stanford (Stanford, CA, United States) and the European Public Health Association (Utrecht, the Netherlands). In addition, I contributed as an adjunct to the Office of the President of Istituto Superiore di Sanità (Rome, Italy). My educational background includes a degree in Medicine from the University of Campania (Naples, Italy) in 2016, an MSc in Epidemiology from Erasmus University Rotterdam (Rotterdam, the Netherlands) in 2020, and postgraduate training in Public Health and Preventive Medicine and PhD in Public Health from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Rome, Italy) in 2021 and in 2024.
