Long experience in detailed geological mapping Fieldworks perfomed in the Central and Northern Apennines, Southern Alps, Apulia, Calabria. Field-mapping was aimed at reconstructing the tectonic-stratigraphic evolution of the studied sectors and providing new bio-lithostratigraphic information. About the Central and Northern Apennines and the Southern Alps, the focus of the fieldwork was on the palaeotectonic and palaeogeographic recontruction of the areas, strictly controlled by the Early Jurassic Tethyan rifting. Skills in carbonate sedimentology (pelagic and benthic factories), Meso-Cenozoic stratigraphy of Tethyan realm, synsedimentary tectonics in divergent/passive and convergent/collisional margins.
