Hi, my name is An\'Gella Smith, but I go by Angel. I’m a proud graduate of Grand Valley State University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Public and Nonprofit Administration with a focus on Community Development and Budgeting/Finance, as well as a minor in Marketing. Over the years, I’ve developed a diverse skill set through roles in corporate and community fundraising, office administration, digital marketing, event planning, grant writing, and database management—all fueled by a genuine love for people and community impact. Currently, I serve as a Foundation Associate Specialist at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Children’s Miracle Network (HDVCH CMN) team, where I bring passion and purpose to every initiative I support. My work focuses on building meaningful relationships, coordinating impactful fundraising efforts, and ensuring that every dollar raised helps improve the lives of children and families in our community. I thrive in collaborative and positive environments, and I believe that with the right mindset, anything is possible. I’m always open to learning, growing, and embracing new experiences that help me evolve both professionally and personally.

   Partner with prospect managers of Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital’s (HDVCH) largest Children\'s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) corporate partners to execute year-round fundraising and stewardship strategies- Oversee a portfolio of select CMNH Corporate Partners and Dance Marathon College Programs including strategy development, fundraising campaign execution and coordination, and stewardship for partners with annual support of or less- Support the entire CMNH team on hospital tours or presentations to CMN corporate partners and fundraising programs- Work with volunteers, including HDVCH CMNH Champions families, to coordinate appearances at partner events and/or meetings, as well as various other partner stewardship opportunities- Coordinate Community Fundraising events/activities of or less in support of HDVCH- Coordinate peer-to-peer fundraising platform in support of Community Fundraising events/activities.
