Within this role, Angelique oversees all of the corporate functions of the business, which include the following departments: Finance, Legal, Compliance, IT, Human Resources, Marketing and Credit Surveillance. Therefore, she is responsible for all finance functions, human capital, ethics, cybersecurity programs, diversity and inclusion, regulatory affairs, corporate governance and brand identity activities. Angelique also serves on Ziegler’s Board of Directors, is a member of its Executive Committee, and chairs both the Operating Committee and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.Angelique has served on many boards throughout her career, but currently serves as an independent Board Director of WittKieffer, Board Trustee to Chicago State University, past Chair of the Board of Directors for the Chicago State Foundation and past Chair of the Bond Dealers of America. She also serves on Northwestern Pritzker School of Law\'s Corporate Counsel Institute Committee as past Chair. Prior to joining Ziegler, Angelique practiced law at Locke Lord Bissell and Liddell, LLP in its corporate department focusing on investment management, investment banking and mergers and acquisitions.Angelique is not only a recognized leader in the business and legal community, she is greatly admired for navigating a career path that has shattered numerous gender and color glass ceilings. Amongst numerous awards throughout her career she has most recently been named one of the 2021 “25 Influential Black Women in Business” by The Network Journal, Crain’s 2021 Notable General Counsel by Crain’s Chicago Business and has received the 2021 Excellence in Leadership Award from the Chicago State Foundation.Angelique is also the Founder and CEO of Just 4 GirlFriends (J4G), LLC, an organization dedicated to helping women embrace self-care and self-preservation by providing engaging experiences and sisterhood.
