ABOUT ANGELINA
Angelina Te is currently a high school junior at Mt. Sac Early College Academy. She is a daughter to Cambodian-American immigrants as well as a low-income and first-generation student! Angelina is passion lies with closing the opportunity gap, through mental health advocacy and college and career awareness! Her upbringing in the working-class city of Long Beach, California has encouraged her to take initiative towards closing the opportunity gap.Aside from her advocacy for equal education, Angelina is a huge diverse literature enthusiast. She believes that literature should be diverse, for literature is forum of self-expression. Angelina has dedicated herself to literature, as she owns her own magazine, Golden Student Bears\' Magazine as well as a journalist at The Teen Magazine. She also enjoys writing poetry and novel works, as she currently has a published poem collection and a novel set to release around June of this year!Utilizing both her passion for closing the opportunity and literature, she has utilized her voice in writing to empower those around her. Angelina uses her writing to inform and inspire!
