ABOUT ANGELINA ESSA
I am a recent graduate of the College of Natural Science with a major in human biology at Michigan State University with a pre-med/pre-professional health focus. Within my years of study during undergrad I have been able to develop essential collaborative and communication skills that are needed to be successful in medical environments and therefore, allow for me to better interact with colleagues and patients. I currently work and volunteer in Detroit for a non-profit OB GYN clinic and I participate in laboratory research focused on lipids at Wayne State University. I also bartend and serve at Oakhurst Golf & Country Club, where I’ve been able to build relationships with many individuals who have helped me become the person I am today. Additionally, I am currently applying to medical school this cycle, with hopes to attend in fall of 2026.
