ABOUT ANGELINA BRAVO
Angelina Bravo is the Chief Advocacy Officer for Valle del Sol, a community health non-profit organization based in Phoenix. For 52 years, Valle del Sol has been providing critical behavioral health, primary care, and leadership development services to underserved communities in Phoenix, with a focus on the Latino community.Angelina is a new board member sitting on their executive team for Xico, Inc, one of the oldest ethnic arts organizations in the US promoting Latino and Indigenous culture through art and community engagement.This past December, Angelina was honored the \"Executive of the Year\" award by ALPFA, the Association of Latino Professionals For America. Angelina is a proud graduate of the Hispanic Leadership Institute (HLI), and has volunteered her time for organizations such as Be A Leader and New Pathways for Youth. A fifth generation Arizonan, Angelina’s roots run deep in Arizona communities, from northern Arizona to the borderlands. She holds a BA in Broadcast Journalism and minored in Marketing and Spanish at the University of Arizona. She lives in Central Phoenix with her husband Adam, and daughters Arizona and Zia.
