Responsible for management of the section including hire, transfer, assign and monitor workload of staff in section• Establish Section priorities, develop goals and objectives, develop Section work plans and monitor performance.• Oversee the design and implementation of Center for Health Care Quality (CHCQ) reporting systems and performance reports related to licensed and certified facilities• Initiate, manage technical data projects and assist management in the monitoring of projects • Direct staff in the development of sensitive cross-department policy/strategic issues and meeting data needs of legislative change proposals, budget change proposals, legislative concepts• Manage maintenance of CHCQ analytic tools that will provide data and information for making decisions on a department-wide basis• Create and maintain, governance and metadata framework and documentation including validation of study analyses and results• Manages projects that are highly sensitive and may involve representatives of the Legislature, other state departments, and the federal government• Supervise and coach staff in use of SAS, Data Point (SQL), SSRS and SQL Management Studio. Provide timely formal and on-the-job training to employees to ensure good performance• Oversee and manage all the Tableau Dashboards and Power BI created and provided by CHCQ data
