ABOUT ANGELIKA HUBER-STRASSER

Passionate Auditor 🧭 Boardroom Expert Mobility Thought Leader 🤖 Tech Enthusiast Female Rolemodel & Working Mom Bavaria FanI am a passionate auditor and have been working for KPMG for more than 29 years. As Regional Head – Region South, I am responsible for over 1,800 employees at the Munich, Augsburg, Regensburg and Nuremberg sites. My goal: to continue to drive the boom of the Southern Region and to build on the successful development towards an innovative tech location. I also head the Audit Committee Institute in Germany: as a free forum and partner for supervisory boards and managers, it supports the formation of opinion on corporate governance between politics, science and practice. Before that, as Head of Corporates, I was responsible for the KPMG teams serving large, listed mandates and clients for over seven years – my personal focus is therefore on the group audit of DAX30 companies and international corporations. In this role, I also see myself as a contact for C-levels and supervisory boards when it comes to the topics of digital transformation, leadership and board issues, and sustainable finance.And as Head of Automotive Germany and EMA, the mobility issue is also high on my personal agenda. And finally, as a female role model and working mom, I have been a member and supporter of various business women\'s networks for many years and am responsible for KPMG\'s Global Female Leaders Outlook, which we have been conducting annually since 2018. My goal: To create values that go beyond the purely economic aspects! My approach: Working closely with you and your teams to strengthen your company\'s resilience in times of change!
