ABOUT ANGELICA ZOLNIEROWICZ

As a first generation Polish-American, I knew from an early age that I wanted to be a lawyer and focus on international issues. I grew up in New York City and rural upstate New York, spoke Polish with my extended family, and saw first-hand how hard immigrant entrepreneurs work to be successful in the United States. I became fascinated with the legal profession seeing my family negotiate international business ventures for many years. I built my undergraduate and graduate education around international studies and law, learning six languages in addition to English. I also studied and worked abroad in Europe and was selected by the Department of Justice to observe 9/11 military commission hearings at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba. From working as a prosecutor to private practice, I’ve seen the value of my ability to work with international clients in their native tongues. I have found my understanding of foreign customs and norms to be an invaluable skill in every aspect of my work. Among the additional special skills I bring to my clients’ legal counsel are:• Aviation Law• Corporate Law• Business Litigation• International Negotiations • Complex Commercial LitigationLicensed to practice in state and federal courts in District of Columbia, Florida, Maryland, New York and North Carolina.
