ABOUT ANGELICA VANDI

I\'m a Post-doc Research Fellow in Fashion Design at Politecnico di Milano. I have a PhD in Design with a thesis titled \"Archiving Fashion Futures: Design-Driven Curatorial Practices Fostering Innovation in CCIs\" and an MSc in Design for the Fashion System from Politecnico di Milano. In 2023, I was a visiting PhD student at metaLAB, Harvard University, Cambridge (MA), focusing on Digital Humanities and how digital technologies shape archival representation systems online. During my university career, I took part in the Design Management joint program with Jefferson University, Philadelphia and Politecnico di Milano. Since 2019, I\'ve been a researcher at the Fashion in Process Research Lab, and since 2021, I\'ve been a researcher at the Gianfranco Ferré Research Center. I currently teach the Retailing Strategies course at the FIT in Milan Program and in the \"Design for the Fashion System\" Final Studio Lab in the MSc in Design for the Fashion System at Politecnico di Milano. I taught in the Fashion Branding Strategies course at Milano Fashion Institute. I\'m a lecturer and Teaching Assistant at the \"Design for Branding Strategies\" course. My research focuses on the intersection of Fashion Design, Cultural Heritage, and the integration of digital technologies. I explore design-driven approaches to innovating production and consumption dynamics in the Cultural and Creative Industries. Specifically, I examine how digital technologies influence archival repositories and experiment with new cultural interactions that engage both tangible and intangible fashion heritage.
