About Angelica Torres
I am a designer with over 10 years of international experience spanning themed environments, film sets, theater, and interior design. Since 2017 I have served as a Senior Show Set Designer with Universal Creative where I\'ve contributed to Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort and Super Nintendo World in Osaka. My previous work includes roles with Walt Disney Imagineering, two agencies, and as a freelancer on projects for theater, film, and television. My expertise is in design of highly-immersive and interactive environments with a focus on guest experience. I have a strong foundation in architecture and theatrical design, and experience in multicultural projects with experience living in Colombia, Italy, Argentina, China, Japan, and the US. Outside of work, I am passionate about watercolors, painting, and scale model building, and I have an Instagram account for watercolors (instagram.com/love.letters.to.milo) with nearly 200K followers. I\'m currently working on a watercolor tutorial book expected to be published in the fall of 2021. I am bilingual English/Spanish and earned an MFA Theater from California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor of Architecture from Florida International University.
