   As a Sustainability Manager at EY, I work at the intersection of climate policy, sustainable finance, and public administration. My role involves advising public institutions—such as municipalities, regional governments, and national agencies—on the design, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability strategies that align with European and international frameworks, including the EU Green Deal, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and national climate commitments.I support the development of long-term sustainability plans by integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into public policies and investment decisions. This includes conducting regulatory and DNSH (Do No Significant Harm) compliance assessments, designing decarbonization pathways, and implementing circular economy and nature-based solutions tailored to local and regional needs.A key part of my role is to assist public entities in accessing and managing EU and national funding instruments—such as Next Generation EU, Horizon Europe, and Interreg—by structuring high-impact, fundable projects and ensuring their alignment with current environmental standards and investment priorities.I also facilitate multi-stakeholder engagement processes, coordinate capacity-building initiatives for public officials, and help foster cross-sectoral partnerships to enable inclusive, evidence-based decision-making. Furthermore, I provide methodological support for the definition of performance indicators and monitoring frameworks to ensure transparency, accountability, and measurable progress over time.My mission is to enable public institutions to take a proactive, strategic role in the ecological transition, building resilient, climate-conscious communities prepared for the challenges of the future.
