I am currently a Clinical Application Coordinator /Nurse Informaticist for Jesse Brown VA Chicago performing the role of development and implemention of various aspects of CPRS and VistA, as well as preparation for Oracle Cerner conversion in the future. In a prior role, I was a Nurse Informaticist at VISN 20 Northwest Network and Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System serving the health care needs of veterans. Previously, I was a Senior Data Analyst at Arkansas Children\'s Care Network establishing the nation\'s first statewide pediatric Clinically Integrated Network. I have also been a Medicare Consultant with Optum/UnitedHealth Group serving Arkansas and Manager of Quality Informatics at Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield where I served to improve the HEDIS process for Medicare Advantage and Marketplace Exchange lines of business. I have a passion for quality improvement and using data to drive change. I also have vast experience as a Registered Nurse to include Epic Instructional Designer for Optime and Anesthesia, Inpatient Quality Management, as well as Neonatal and Cardiac ICU. The majority of my nursing career was in the Neonatal ICU at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.I completed a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics degree at Duke University, with a 4.0 GPA and a membership of Sigma Theta Tau. I am an extremely motivated individual, intelligent, detail-oriented, and dependable. I am passionate about nursing, my family, and my career.
