   Managing the maintenance of hydroelectric equipment and components throughout the Niagara Power Project. • Supervising 37 employees, including first line supervisors, engineers, planners and mechanics. • Responsible for outage scheduling for maintenance and modifications of generation assets. • Developing and monitoring yearly budgets for acquisition of new equipment, capital expenditures and mprovement projects. • Resource planning and management, including weekly schedule coverage and compliance. • Providing safety awareness by leading safety tailgates, attending safety committee meetings and performing safety audits. • Ensuring that the department is in full compliance with all internal and external safety rules, regulations, laws and and strategic targets established by NYPA and all other applicable regulatory agencies (PCC, FERC, DEC, & PESH). • Administering the collective bargaining agreement and enforcing all company policies and procedures. • Participating in emergency preparedness, incident management and response as outlined in NYPA’s implementation of the National Incident Management Systems (NIMS).
